The National Garden Scheme gives visitors unique access to over 3,600 exceptional private gardens in England and Wales, and raises impressive amounts of money for nursing and health charities through admissions, teas and cake.

Wigan & Leigh Hospice – 25th JulyLarge attractive gardens surround the Hospice creating a place of tranquillity. At the front are beautiful raised beds and a new courtyard garden, at the rear 3 large ponds. Outside patients’ rooms are colourful tubs and flower beds. A memorial daisy garden. A wildflower garden has been created – ‘The Amberswood Garden’.

The gardens are a haven for wildlife. Garden awarded ‘Gold’ in NW in Bloom.
