Last year’s play day was a huge success with over 5000 people visiting the park and this year is expected to be even busier with a wide range of free activities, planned across the day, including sports and games, inflatables, storytelling and arts and crafts.
Young visitors can also enjoy the park’s adventure play area offering adventure climbing, swings, a treehouse and an interactive play feature but are also encouraged to bring bikes and scooters and make use of the extensive park trails.
Activities on site are aimed at youngsters aged between 5 and 13. Many activities are free, however there is a charge for high ropes and some activities provided by third party organisations. Please note that new parking charges apply at Haigh Woodland Park.Facebook event
