Join us at Oak Fest! Three days between September 24th and 26th when you can find out what the Oak Centre has to offer.
Oak Fest is a chance for healthcare professionals, carers, members of the public and people with life-limiting illnesses to find out more about how the centre helps to improve wellbeing.
Activities include a crystal therapy workshop, the Wool Warriors knitting/sewing group, crafts, quilting, a historical talk, flower arranging, choir, The Reader group and craniosacral therapy.
Most classes or workshops are free of charge although a small donation of £5 is requested for some activities.

The aim of the Oak Centre is to support people with a life-limiting illness who have been diagnosed as palliative to set themselves goals and make the most out of life. This is done through a range of workshops and classes including ukulele and choir as well as therapies including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, creative therapy and complementary therapy.
The Oak Centre is based at Wigan and Leigh Hospice, Kildare Street, Hindley, WN2 3HZ.
Oak Fest is on for 3 days between 10am and 3.30pm
