The Something New Show

Prepare for Wigan’s only, and therefore best, cabaret of Improv, spoken word, poetry, comedy and more.

Casino Improv are back to host the March edition of The Something New Show. It’s entirely free and awfully nice.

Open mic slots are available for anyone with something to share.

This month’s special guests are Poet Adam Fenton and Comic Andrew Thompson

Adam Fenton is a writer, performer and spoken work artist based in the North West. His work explores themes of mental health, disability, and other fun sounding topics! He started performing his work at open mic nights around the Wigan and Manchester area and since has worked with companies like Bamalam and collaborated on a spoken word and theatre piece based around Trencherfield Mill. Adam also runs an open mic poetry night called Celebration of Word in which anyone can get up and perform no matter they’re experience level or art form.

Andrew is a London based comic whose surreal storytelling is his signature style.

He has was a finalist in the Hilarity Bites competition 2019 and a semi finalist in the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian competition 2019.
