Wigan STEAM are moving to The Galleries next month where they will be working with The Galleries to bring even more creativity to the local area.

New Opening: Foodbox expands premises
Foodbox previously known as the extremely popular, Taco the Town, in Wigan market have some great news. This week they have now moved to Makinson Arcade with a new look. With a larger food area and seating available. Food is still available for takeaway. Same great food but with more to the menu. Opening hours: 10am - 4pm every day except Sunday. New community space at The Old Courts
The Old Courts are now offering a free space for community groups in Wigan to use on Mondays. Whether it's an established meet-up group, a budding knitting class or anything in between, we want to help. Each Monday between 10am and 4pm The Old Courts can offer private café space for exclusive use for the group. The space comes with tables, chairs and the usual amenities including a welcoming member of staff on hand selling our full range of teas,
Wigan Tennis League – now open
Join Wigan Tennis League by Monday 28 January. An easy way for men & women of all standards to play friendly, competitive singles. Players are organised into groups of 6-8 players and arrange their own matches at a mutually convenient time. Any court that suits both players can be used. Everyone who completes 3 matches by the half way mark is sent a free can of balls and there is a prize to the value of £20 for the winner of

So much great new activity in town lately! With The Coven moving to The Old Courts, Relish Cheese and Wine have taken over their spot on Hallgate. Serving specialty cheese and meat platters, freshly made bread, dessert platters along with a huge variety of wines and other alcoholic beverages.
