BeWILDer – join us on an immersive, music-led, woodland walk,

BeWILDer is a site-specific, immersive, outdoor performance about the place it’s happening in. An intimate and transformative, music-led walk, combing deep ecology songs and eco-centric stories that aim to deepen your experience of your place in the inter-connected ecosystem we are all a part of.

Audiences will be guided through Wigan Flashes in small groups, into the woodland and finding hidden trails. Along the way the audience will be encouraged to listen and take notice of the world around about them. Accompanied by the stirring and atmospheric music of Deep Cabaret, you will find yourself irreversibly beWILDered!

Meeting at the Welham Road (Hawkely High), we will walk along the path to the canal. As soon as we cross over the bridge, the event will be begin.

Please note that this walk will be across some uneven paths, and due to the weather, there may be some muddy parts. As this is an outdoor event, suitable clothing and footwear is advisable.

Refreshments will be provided after the event.
