Part of the incredibly popular – sell-out ‘sing-a-long’ series at Haigh Woodland Park.
Part Cinema – Part Show. Mostly Party!
Be Baby or Johnny for the night. Feel free to dress up American 50s style.
Dance to our DJ and join in with our very own show cast singers.
And of course – watch the smash hit Golden Globe and Oscar winning 1987 romantic drama dance film starring Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze.
Join in with the Courtyard Chorus with classics such as ‘The Time of Your Life’, ‘Hungry Eyes’ and ‘She’s Like the Wind’.
Themed games and giveaways.
All within the Kitchen Courtyard setting of Haigh Woodland Park.
Food and drink outlets open plus BBQs and Bars.
Event Timings:
• Courtyard Opens: 6.00pm.
• Food and Drink available from 6.00pm.
• ‘DJ Deano’ starts 7.00pm.
• 7.45pm. DJ announces and welcomes – The arrival of Baby and Johnny’.
• 8.30. DJ prepares 6 – 8 people to take part in Competition #2 – ‘Sing Off’
• 8.35pm. Baby and Johnny return to podiums with contestants and get audience to sing along.
• 8.45pm. Baby and Johnny get audience standing, dancing and singing to Song 4. Then straight into Countdown to Film.
• 8.50pm: Film Feature. (I hour 40 mins). Sing along led by our own Baby and Jonny. Audience have song sheets (see attached song list).
• 10.30pm. Film Finish.
• DJ until event finish at 11.00pm.
(Quiz handed out to audience on arrival complete with Lyric Sheets. Quiz sheets to be handed to DJ before start of Film. Winners announced after Film).
(Audience encouraged to post pictures to #singalongahaigh. Prizes for best posts).
