Fill the bug hotel!
Friday 27th Oct at 10am – 11am
We need your help! Come and join in to fill the new bug hotel in the community garden at St Anne’s Community Garden (next to the community Centre) in Beech Hill, Wigan.
Bring along any small old logs, sticks, pine cones, bits of moss, rolls, flat cardboard, bark, hollow bamboo canes, straw, old terracotta pots, bricks with holes, dry grass or leaves etc.
Anything natural, and without chemicals / plastic. And please don’t damage any trees to get something.
Bug hotels provide a great shelter for all kinds of bugs and insects, particularly over winter.
Thanks so much to Ben and Community ToolMates for assembling the bughouse together.
