Join artists Saba Rifat and Sumrina for half term workshops exploring the ancient art of Islamic geometry!

Inspired by our new exhibition Geometric Light by Zarah Hussain, these workshops will guide you in the ancient art of geometry to create a piece of beautiful geometric art to take away!
The workshops will take place from 10am-12pm on Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th October during half term. You are welcome to attend one or all of the sessions. Places are free and there’s no need to book, just drop in!
You don’t need any prior knowledge of geometry or drawing skills – you will be guided by a professional artist who will introduce you to pattern creation, using a compass and ruler.
Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th will be led by artist Sumrina who will teach you how to draw patterns to create a unique geometric design.
Thursday 27th will be led by artist Saba Rifat who will teach you how to create 3D geometric sculptures in paper.
