Go on a journey through Angers and Wigan borough, where you will discover their cultural richness through a selection of 40 photographs taken by residents in the two twinned towns.

#LoveYourTwinTown showcases the cultural diversity, unique landscapes, heritage and architectural riches of Wigan borough and Angers.

#LoveYourTwinTown is a meeting of two cultures.

This photographic experience is part of Wigan Council’s activity to promote the twinning between Wigan and Angers, and was shared as a digital exhibition on Instagram and as an exhibition in Leigh Library.

Wigan Arts Festival is a a two week multi-arts festival from 30th July – 14th August featuring live music, art, theatre, poetry, comedy, film & family events! The festival aims to bring top notch cultural entertainment to Wigan, and also showcase many local talents!
