Free creative workshops for families at The Turnpike Gallery

The Turnpike Gallery is hosting a series of free drop-in art & craft workshops for families led by experienced artist Nerissa Cargill Thompson. Come along to meet other families and try new creative activities inspired by our local heritage and environment!

Saturday 16th March 11am – 1pm

Industrial Revolution aka Mills & Mines 2: Print abstract artworks using stamps.

Saturday 30th March 11am – 1pm

Local Views: Celebrate the best (or worst) bits of local life through a collaborative wall of words and individual textile collages made using recycled materials.

Suitable for families with children aged 5+, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All sessions are drop-in, no need to book. If the session is full you may be asked to wait until a space becomes available.
