SANTA SITTINGS GOING FAST.\nHaigh Woodland Park’s Grotto – established in 2014\, is a much loved festive feature.\nSituated upstairs in the Kitchen Courtyard\, the Grotto and Santa will warmly welcome children. Santa never rushes a visit. He’ll take time to chat with all visiting Children. And\, they’ll hear all about his Magic Key! The children can then post their Christmas Lists in our North Pole Postbox. And all children receive a small souvenir gift.\nJust £7 per child.\nAll Santa Sittings must be booked in advance. Tel: 01942 828280. (Phone Lines open 10.00am – 4.00pm).\nGrotto opens: Saturday 26th November. Then open every Saturday and Sunday throughout December. With additional sittings on; 19th\, 20th\, 21st and 22nd December.

SUMMARY:Pottery Night
DESCRIPTION:With the help of our ceramicist Emily\, you will be supported through the whole design process. From preparing the raw clay to sculpting your creation and glazing to finally firing your work\, Pottery Night is perfect for beginners or the more seasoned potter who would like a space to get creative. \nAll equipment from tools to glazes and a shared kiln firing is included in the ticket price. Please be aware that you may need at least two sessions to complete one pottery piece. This is to allow for drying time between building and glazing your creations! \nPlease be aware that our pottery night focuses on hand built and not thrown pottery. \nPLEASE NOTE: This session is an 18+ event\, but ages 12+ can attend with a parent or guardian. One ticket is required per person attending. \n  \nWigan STEAM is situated in The Old Courts (https://www.theoldcourts.com/) and the session will be held in the Community Room. Please come to entrance 5 and a member of staff will let you in a few minutes before the start time. Don’t worry if you are late!
